ABOUT LAURA HOWARD
Looking at one’s mental focus comes first and foremost with all of Laura’s groups and individual clients. She specializes in weight loss, strength training, self-esteem, nutrition, and teaching others how to integrate a healthy nutritional diet and life style into their everyday routine.
As well as a personal trainer, Laura is a true supporter for women’s equality. Not only is she a domestic violence survivor, but she has conquered her past in order to help others see their true worth and value as a child of God. She speaks out against domestic violence, and is a regular Survivor Panel speaker at the Center for Women and Families in Louisville, Kentucky.
Laura did not become a runner until a sporadic moment when she jumped on a treadmill in January of 2009 next to a friend who happened to be running. She fell in love with the sport, and vowed to run a mini –marathon, which she did just a few months later in April of 2009. Many years and many runs later, she now has several full drawers of race shirts to confirm her love of the sport.
